Yeah. (week 2)

Well, writing a work-related blog is a little odd...and that's all I have for now (I did try to write, though. The backspace definitely got a good workout during this session).

If only there were a way to document the effort that goes into writing a document. That way you could show it as evidence when the recipient looks at the end result and says, "You spent 45 minutes writing 'Thanks. It was nice seeing you too.'?" Then you could just whip out the entire transcript and say, "No, I thought about writing all this other retarted stuff that I didn't really want you to read!".

However, if you didn't want them to read it in the first place, you're kind of shooting yourself in the foot by showing it to them. Suddenly, you'd have to explain what you meant when you wrote, "I liked your shoes even though your toes looked like bloated sausages. Maybe it's time that you come to terms with the fact that you're a size 9 wide and stop trying to wedge your feet into a size 6" (although the comment seems pretty self explanatory, don't you think?).

Maybe the transript idea isn't so great after all.

You totally can document the effort it takes to write something. Use the "track changes" feature of Microsoft Word. That will put all these awesome red lines through all your many edits. Rock On. ;)

I understand what you are going through...it is unbelievable how fast time can go by an all you have on the paper is "Part I..."....lol☺ I love the part about the toes, made me laugh.
